Mission / Purpose:
This ministry provides outreach and support to individuals and families within the local and church community.
Activities / Programs:
Active participation in the operation of Manotick Outreach and Food Cupboard. Financial, clothing and food donations to other organizations in Ottawa helping those in need. Preparation and distribution of Christmas Hampers
How to Get Involved:
Respond to appeals for donations and help, particularly during Advent. Information is always provided in the church bulletin.
Time Commitment:
3 monthly meetings in the fall, one Spring meeting, and as needed time when food drives from local schools need to be managed, and 2-3 days during Advent for the Christmas hampers.
